I always loved music. As a child I wanted to become a musician — but life took me into a long corporate career in the telecom industry first. At 30, I finally started learning music seriously, and there was no turning back.

Over the last 15 years I have performed on more than 100 stages across India, released my own music worldwide as The Awescillator, composed background scores for thriller films, and trained more than 500 students.

I founded GICA — GAMAKA Institute of Creative Arts — and the label Oscillator Audio Works so that the next generation of artists gets what I had to find the hard way: structured learning, real practice, a stage, and a path to earn from their art.

Alongside music, I have counselled more than 200 students on their careers in the last five years, because talent needs direction as much as practice.
