GICA Instructor Recruitment

Change the Life of an Aspiring Artist.

Your knowledge could be the beginning of someone's creative journey.

No application fee. Applying does not activate an instructor account — activation follows approval, onboarding and acceptance of the GICA Instructor Agreement.

You Know It. Teach It.

You spent years building something — a technique, a repertoire, a way of hearing, a way of making. Most of it never came from a textbook. It came from practice, from a teacher, from getting it wrong until it worked.

That knowledge is worth passing on.
One learner finding their voice because you explained something clearly is enough reason to teach.
GICA gives it a structure.
A place to organise what you know into a course, find learners, and keep the record of what you delivered.

WHAT TEACHING HERE CAN BECOME

More Than a Teaching Platform

Teaching is the beginning. Everything below is where a GICA instructor practice can grow.

Reach Learners
Put your craft in front of learners who are actively looking for structured guidance.
Create Courses
Shape your knowledge into structured courses, modules and lessons at your own pace.
Teach Live
Live group teaching is part of the platform's planned direction for eligible instructors.
Run Workshops
Run focused sessions and short programmes around a skill or a piece of repertoire.
Build Your Presence
Establish a recognised teaching profile within the GICA creative learning community.
Create a Revenue Opportunity
Turn the time you already spend teaching into a structured, trackable opportunity.

DISCIPLINES

Your Discipline. Your Expertise. Your Way of Teaching.

GICA begins with Music and is expanding across the Creative Arts. Where you fit is your call.

Music
Vocals, piano, guitar, drums, bansuri, violin, production, sound design and music theory.
Performing Arts
Dance, theatre, spoken word and other performance-based practice.
Creative Arts
Visual arts, design, craft and hands-on creative disciplines.
Creative Technology
Music technology, AI-assisted creative workflows, tooling and digital production.
Something else?
If your creative skill can be taught clearly, we want to hear about it.

THE PLATFORM BEHIND YOU

You Focus on Teaching. GICA Provides the Platform.

The operational side of running classes is intended to sit with the platform, so your attention stays on the learner.

Learning infrastructure
Courses, modules and lessons organised in one structured environment.
Virtual classroom
Online group teaching is being provisioned as part of the platform's direction.
Attendance
Session attendance is intended to be captured for each class delivered.
Session records
Delivery history is intended to be recorded so both sides can refer to it.
Course & student management
Manage your content and the learners enrolled with you from one workspace.
Course value & subscription collection records
Course value and subscription collection data is intended to be recorded for settlement reference.
Technology
One platform for teaching, learning and administration — no separate toolchain to run.
Learner experience
A calm, focused environment built around learning and consistent practice.
Future engagement & distribution
Future pathways for visibility and reach across the wider GICA ecosystem.

A note on settlement. The platform records course value and subscription collection data for reference. It does not calculate instructor or GICA shares, and it does not determine tax liability — those are handled separately under your instructor agreement.

THE INSTRUCTOR SHARE

Keep Up to 94% of Your Generated Revenue

The higher the course value you build, the lower GICA's share. The structure is published openly so you can price your teaching with clarity.

Revenue share structure by course price
Course priceGICAInstructor
₹28012%88%
₹48010%90%
₹8808%92%
₹1,2806%94%

These tiers describe how revenue generated by your course is shared. They are not an income projection: what you earn depends on the courses you build, the learners you reach and the sessions you deliver. GICA does not guarantee income.

HOW TEACHING IS STRUCTURED

Different Learning Models. Clear Settlement Rules.

Each way of teaching is settled on a defined basis, so expectations are set before a course begins.

Recurring / Subscription
Learners pay a recurring fee for ongoing access. Settlement is intended to follow the agreed cycle for the sessions delivered in that cycle.
Group Cohorts
A defined group progresses together through a programme. Settlement is intended to follow the cohort's delivery and completion records.
Pre-Paid with Live Sessions
Learners pay upfront for a programme that includes live classes. Settlement is intended to follow the live sessions actually delivered.
Pre-Paid without Live Sessions
Learners pay upfront for structured self-paced content. Settlement is intended to follow the access and delivery records for that content.

The operative settlement terms, cycles and conditions are those set out in the GICA Instructor Agreement.

THE PRINCIPLE

Fair to Learners. Fair to Instructors.

A teaching relationship works when both sides can see what actually happened. These are the principles the platform is designed to support.

Learners receive what they paid for
The platform is designed so that a learner's access and progress reflect the course or programme they enrolled in.
Instructors are recognised for what they deliver
Attendance and delivery records are intended to be the basis for understanding the teaching actually provided.
Records before assumptions
Where a question arises about a session or a settlement, the intended approach is to look at the recorded delivery first.
Corrections have a route
If a record is wrong or a session was affected, the intended route is to raise it with GICA for review.

Some of this functionality is still being built. Where it is described above as intended or designed, treat it as the direction GICA is implementing rather than a feature that is live today.

LIVE TEACHING

Your Live Classroom, Structured.

Online video-class infrastructure is being provisioned for GICA. The intention is a structured online classroom where sessions are scheduled, attendance is captured and delivery is recorded — so live teaching has the same clarity as a physical class.

This infrastructure is not fully live today, and no third-party video, calendar or communication integration is claimed as active on this page.

What a structured live class is intended to include
  • Scheduled sessions for a defined group of learners
  • Attendance captured for each session
  • Session history kept as a shared record
  • A structured place for live teaching, rather than scattered tools

OUR STANDARD

Professionalism Comes First.

Learners trust an instructor with their time, money and creative confidence. That trust sets the expectations below.

  • Honest representation of your credentials and experience
  • Sessions that start on time and are prepared
  • Reliable attendance, or advance notice when something changes
  • Respectful, inclusive conduct toward every learner
  • Clear communication about what a learner can expect
  • Accurate session and course records
  • Learner progress treated as the priority

HOW THE PLATFORM IS ORGANISED

One ID. One Role. One Workspace.

GICA keeps each person's place in the platform simple and unambiguous.

One ID
A single account represents you across GICA — no separate logins for each area.
One Role
Your role — learner, instructor or administrator — describes the capacity you are acting in.
One Workspace
Each role has its own workspace, so teaching, learning and administration stay clearly separated.

This is an explanation of how the platform is organised. Applicant and instructor access are handled by GICA during review and activation.
